Hunston Neighbourhood Plan
Hunston Parish Council is delighted to say that it approved the Hunston Neighbourhood Plan for submission at its Extra-Ordinary Meeting 9 December 2020. This is the culmination of two years of work, led by Joan Foster, Chair. Our thanks go to all those who have participated along the way.
We are now at Regulation 15 stage. This means that
“Once a neighbourhood plan has been completed, it will have to be submitted to the local planning authority and then be subject to an independent examination. This will make sure that the proper legal process has been followed and that the plan meets the basic conditions.
“Neighbourhood plans are subject to an independent examination and any necessary modifications are then made to ensure they meet legal requirements. They are then subjected to a public referendum. (Regulation 16) It is necessary that more than 50% of those voting in the referendum vote “yes” in order to bring the plan into force.”
The link here takes you to our Neighbourhood Plan page where you can see the documentation we have produced at all stages. The documents listed under “Regulation 15 Documents” are the ones we have submitted.
