At some point over the last few years, Hunston seems to have changed from a village into just a group of houses next to the B2145 and B2166. Ever more vehicles are being pushed through the village as fast as possible with little thought as to how this impacts residents, pedestrians, cyclists and other road users.
Hunston Parish Council has commissioned renowned design consultant Ben Hamilton-Baillie to show us what we can do to reclaim our road and the village. He will be giving a presentation at the Village Hall on Wed 28th January at 6pm. The Parish Council very much hopes that residents will come along and give their thoughts and hopefully support to proposals for traffic calming measures that may be possible.
